N-Acetyl Semax Amidate

NA-Semax · N-Acetyl-Semax · Semax Amidate

100-600mcg SubQ daily
200-500 mcg Nasal Daily

N-Acetyl Semax Amidate is a modified, more stable analogue of Semax, a synthetic peptide derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4-10). Semax was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and has been approved in Russia since the 1990s for treatment of stroke, cognitive disorders, and peptic ulcers. The N-acetyl amidate modification increases resistance to enzymatic degradation, enhancing bioavailability and extending its duration of action.

How it works

Stimulates expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and nerve growth factor (NGF), promoting neuronal survival, growth, and synaptic plasticity.

Modulates dopaminergic and serotonergic neurotransmission, enhancing attention, motivation, and mood without stimulant-like side effects.

Provides neuroprotective effects through anti-inflammatory and antioxidant mechanisms, reducing glutamate excitotoxicity during ischemic events.

Claims we could not support

No abstract we checked supports these for this molecule at this route. That is not the same as saying they are false — it marks where the evidence is missing.

Dose/route: 100-600mcg; Subcutaneous (SubQ); daily. No checked live PubMed abstract verified this exact displayed dose, route, and frequency for the same molecule/formulation and relevant population.

Mechanism: Stimulates expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and nerve growth factor (NGF), promoting neuronal survival, growth, and synaptic plasticity.. No checked live PubMed abstract provided an exact-molecule/formulation sentence supporting this source-JSON mechanism claim.

Primary safety claim: Mild headache, especially during initial use. No checked live PubMed abstract directly verified this source-JSON safety claim at the displayed formulation, route, and regimen.

Interactions & stacking

Two different questions: what is documented about running these together, and what is documented about drawing them into the same syringe. A good pharmacological partner can still have to be pinned separately.

Documented together

BPC-157Tissue repair and nootropic effects are independent - safe to co-administer
EpithalonTelomerase activation and neuroprotection address different biological targets
CortagenCortex bioregulator peptide and Semax have complementary but non-conflicting CNS support mechanisms
PinealonPineal bioregulator and nootropic peptide act through distinct pathways

Keep separate

GHK-CuCopper-peptide complex may oxidize methionine residue in Semax - do not mix in same syringe

Check any specific pair in the Stack & Interaction Checker, which answers both questions separately. Absence of a documented conflict is not evidence of safety.
