Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) is a Khavinson bioregulator tripeptide that targets the pineal gland and central nervous system. It was developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson's research group at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Pinealon regulates gene expression in pineal and CNS tissue, supporting melatonin production, circadian rhythm maintenance, and neuroprotective pathways. Like all Khavinson bioregulators, it works at very low concentrations through direct DNA interaction rather than classical receptor binding, and is administered in short intensive courses (10-20 days) followed by extended rest periods of several months.

Synthetic brain bioregulator targeting the cortex and pineal gland interactions. This is the ORAL capsule dose and is not an injection dose. Oral peptide absorption is poor, so this figure is far higher than the injectable protocol on purpose. Do not inject this amount.

How it works

Pinealon interacts with DNA in pineal gland and CNS cells at the level of histone modification and transcription factor accessibility, modulating expression of genes involved in melatonin synthesis (AANAT, ASMT), circadian clock regulation, and neuroprotective pathways. As a bioregulator, it does not activate traditional cell surface receptors but instead penetrates cells and directly influences gene transcription. The tripeptide structure allows cell penetration and nuclear localization. Effects persist beyond the dosing period because gene expression changes are sustained through epigenetic mechanisms.

What to expect

Early
Days 1–7

Days 1-10 (during course): Sleep improvements may be noticeable. Gene expression changes initiated.

Mid
Weeks 2–4

Weeks 2-8 (after course): Gene expression changes continue to manifest. Sleep benefits persist.

Later
Weeks 4–12

Months: Sustained pineal function improvement. Run next course in 4-6 months.

Claims we could not support

No abstract we checked supports these for this molecule at this route. That is not the same as saying they are false — it marks where the evidence is missing.

Dose/route: 1 mg daily via SubQ injection, 10-20 day course. No checked live PubMed abstract supported this complete molecule/formulation/route/dose/frequency combination.

Primary safety claim: Very well tolerated. No checked live abstract directly established this as the primary concern for the card's exact formulation and regimen.

The honest take

Pineal gland restoration

Russian clinical data supports improved melatonin production and circadian rhythm in elderly. Mechanism (gene expression modulation) is consistent with Khavinson bioregulatory theory.

Neuroprotection

Animal and in vitro data support CNS protective effects. Mechanism involves upregulation of neuroprotective gene programs.

05

Interactions & stacking

Two different questions: what is documented about running these together, and what is documented about drawing them into the same syringe. A good pharmacological partner can still have to be pinned separately.

Pin alone. Pinealon must not share a syringe with anything else, whatever the pharmacology says. PIN ALONE. Khavinson bioregulator. Gene regulatory signaling at low concentrations requires clean signal.

Documented together

EpithalonBoth target pineal gland. Pinealon supports CNS/pineal gene expression, Epithalon activates telomerase. Run in sequence, not simultaneously.
DSIPPinealon supports pineal/melatonin pathways, DSIP promotes delta sleep. Complementary sleep architecture support.

Keep separate

GHK-CuCopper degrades short bioregulator peptides.

Check any specific pair in the Stack & Interaction Checker, which answers both questions separately. Absence of a documented conflict is not evidence of safety.

Side effects & safety

Commonly reported

  • Very well tolerated
  • Mild injection site irritation

Less common & notes

  • Pinealon is a small tripeptide with excellent safety profile.
  • No significant adverse events in published literature.
  • Short course duration limits exposure.
