How it works

Activates the PINK1/Parkin mitophagy pathway, tagging damaged mitochondria for selective autophagy. This clears dysfunctional mitochondria that produce excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS), reducing oxidative stress and allowing mitochondrial biogenesis to replenish the pool with healthy organelles.

Upregulates genes involved in mitochondrial biogenesis (PGC-1alpha, TFAM) and oxidative phosphorylation, resulting in a net improvement in mitochondrial quality and cellular energy production capacity.

Demonstrates anti-inflammatory effects by reducing circulating biomarkers including C-reactive protein (CRP) and specific acylcarnitines associated with incomplete fatty acid oxidation. Also modulates the NLRP3 inflammasome pathway.
