Cardiogen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg) is a Khavinson bioregulator tetrapeptide targeting cardiac tissue gene expression. It supports cardiomyocyte function, cardiac extracellular matrix maintenance, and cardiovascular protective pathways. Developed for age-related cardiac decline and cardiac tissue support.

Synthetic tetrapeptide bioregulator for the heart. Usually taken as 1-2 capsules daily for 10-20 days, repeated every 4-6 months. This is the ORAL capsule dose and is not an injection dose. Oral peptide absorption is poor, so this figure is far higher than the injectable protocol on purpose. Do not inject this amount.

How it works

Cardiogen penetrates cardiomyocytes and interacts with DNA to modulate expression of genes involved in cardiac contractility, extracellular matrix maintenance, antioxidant defense, and cellular stress resistance in heart tissue. Works through epigenetic mechanisms at very low concentrations.

Claims we could not support

No abstract we checked supports these for this molecule at this route. That is not the same as saying they are false — it marks where the evidence is missing.

Dose/route: 100 mcg SubQ daily for a 10-20 day course. No checked abstract administered page-defined Cardiogen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg) subcutaneously at this dose and course length.

Mechanism: cardiomyocyte penetration and direct DNA-mediated regulation of cardiac genes. Exact-name results involved rat tissue explants, prostate fibroblasts, or a rat sarcoma model; none stated the page’s sequence-specific cardiomyocyte/DNA mechanism.

Primary safety concern / excellent tolerability at the displayed regimen. No checked human SubQ safety abstract for the page-defined molecule and regimen was found.

The honest take

Cardiac tissue support

Russian clinical data supports improved cardiac markers in elderly. Bioregulatory mechanism targets cardiac-specific gene expression.

05

Interactions & stacking

Two different questions: what is documented about running these together, and what is documented about drawing them into the same syringe. A good pharmacological partner can still have to be pinned separately.

Pin alone. Cardiogen must not share a syringe with anything else, whatever the pharmacology says. PIN ALONE. Khavinson bioregulator.

Documented together

SS-31Cardiogen targets cardiac gene expression, SS-31 targets cardiac mitochondria. Complementary cardiac support. Pin separately.
VesiluteCardiogen cardiac + Vesilute vascular. Complementary cardiovascular support. Run in sequence.

Keep separate

GHK-CuCopper degrades bioregulator peptides.

Check any specific pair in the Stack & Interaction Checker, which answers both questions separately. Absence of a documented conflict is not evidence of safety.

06

Side effects & safety

Commonly reported

  • Very well tolerated
  • Mild injection site irritation

Less common & notes

  • Monitor cardiovascular parameters if on cardiac medications.
  • Excellent safety profile.
