How it works

Cartalax penetrates chondrocytes and modulates expression of genes involved in proteoglycan synthesis, collagen type II production, and cartilage matrix maintenance. Supports the balance between matrix synthesis and degradation (MMP regulation) in articular cartilage.

No abstract we checked supports these for this molecule at this route. That is not the same as saying they are false — it marks where the evidence is missing.

Dose/route: 2 mg SubQ daily for a 10-20 day course. No checked abstract administered Cartalax subcutaneously at this dose or course length.

Mechanism: proteoglycan synthesis, collagen II production, and MMP regulation in articular cartilage. The exact AED/Kartalax abstracts found addressed chondrocyte senescence-associated secretory markers, not the page’s proteoglycan, collagen-II, or MMP mechanism.

Primary safety concern / no significant adverse events at the displayed regimen. No checked human SubQ safety abstract for Cartalax was found.
