Semax Component: Activates melanocortin receptors (MC3R, MC4R) in the brain, triggering downstream BDNF expression and TrkB receptor activation in the hippocampus and cortex. BDNF supports neuronal survival, differentiation, and synaptic plasticity. Semax also modulates serotonergic and dopaminergic neurotransmission, increases NGF and GDNF expression, and enhances cerebral blood flow. Does NOT stimulate the adrenal cortex at standard doses (no cortisol elevation).

Selank Component: Modulates GABA-A receptor sensitivity to enhance inhibitory neurotransmission without directly binding the benzodiazepine site. Influences serotonin metabolism through tryptophan hydroxylase and serotonin transporter dynamics. The tuftsin core provides immunomodulatory activity through enhanced phagocytic function and NK cell activity.

DSIP Component: Enhances GABAergic inhibitory tone, normalizes cortisol circadian rhythm, and modulates serotonin metabolism to shift sleep architecture toward deeper, more restorative stages. Forms carrier protein complexes that serve as slow-release reservoirs, extending biological activity through the night.
