FGL(L)
FGL-L · FGLL Peptide
FGL(L) is a synthetic peptide derived from the neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM) that mimics the interaction between NCAM and fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR). NCAM-FGFR signaling is critical for synaptic plasticity, neurite outgrowth, and neural circuit formation. FGL(L) is the L-amino acid version of the FGL peptide, designed to enhance neural plasticity and cognitive function through FGFR activation without requiring cell-cell contact.
Any time of day. No fasting required. NCAM mimetic for neuroprotection.

How it works
FGL(L) binds to and activates fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR), mimicking the signaling that normally occurs when NCAM molecules on adjacent neurons interact. This activates downstream pathways including MAPK/ERK and PI3K/Akt, promoting neurite outgrowth, synaptic strengthening, long-term potentiation (LTP), and neural circuit formation. By delivering this signal as a soluble peptide, FGL(L) can enhance plasticity without requiring direct cell-cell contact.
