How it works

Astragalus has multiple bioactive compound classes:

Astragalus Polysaccharides (APS)

Immune-modulating - activate macrophages, NK cells, T-cells. Adaptogenic effects on stress resistance.

Astragaloside IV

Cardioprotective effects in animal heart failure models. Anti-fibrotic and anti-apoptotic in cardiomyocytes.

TA-65 (Cycloastragenol-Concentrated)

Refined product targeting telomerase activation. Small clinical trials in immunosenescent populations show modest effects on telomere length and immune markers.

Saponin Cardiovascular Effects

BP modulation, vascular endothelial support.

Anti-Inflammatory

NF-κB modulation similar to other adaptogens.
