Apis mellifera Royal Jelly

Bee-Produced Larval Secretion10-HDA / Royalactin BioactiveTraditional / Folk MedicineDietary Supplement

Royal Jelly is the milky secretion produced by worker honeybees and fed exclusively to queen larvae - the substance responsible for the dramatic developmental difference between worker bees and queens. Active components include 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid (10-HDA, the unique 'royal jelly fatty acid'), proteins (royalactin), B-vitamins, and various sugars/lipids.

How it works

Royal Jelly bioactives drive multiple effects:

10-HDA (10-Hydroxy-2-Decenoic Acid)

Unique fatty acid found only in royal jelly. Has weak estrogenic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects.

Royalactin (Major Royal Jelly Protein)

Protein responsible for queen bee development. In humans, has minor cellular effects.

B-Vitamins

Royal jelly is rich in B-vitamins, contributing to energy metabolism support.

Antioxidants

Direct ROS scavenging plus enzyme system support.

Phytoestrogen-Like

Mild estrogenic activity - mechanism for menopausal symptom benefits.
