How it works

L-Glutamine has multiple metabolic roles:

Enterocyte Fuel

Primary energy source for intestinal lining cells. Supports tight junction integrity and barrier function.

Immune Cell Fuel

Lymphocytes and macrophages depend on glutamine. During heavy training or illness, glutamine demand exceeds supply - supplementation may support immune function.
