Drostanolone enanthate is a long-ester injectable anabolic-androgenic steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is the enanthate-esterified form of drostanolone (the original Masteron was drostanolone propionate). This ester extension gives it a plasma half-life of approximately 7-10 days, allowing 1-2 injections per week versus the EOD injections required by the propionate form.
Split weekly total into 2 injections (e.g., Monday/Thursday) for stable blood levels given the 7-10 day half-life. Compatible with long-ester testosterone and other oil-based AAS in the same syringe. Plan a 3-4 week washout after the last injection.

How it works
Drostanolone binds the androgen receptor (AR) with moderate affinity and drives protein synthesis and nitrogen retention, with a strong preference for lean tissue. As a DHT derivative, it does not aromatize to estrogen and has no intrinsic estrogenic activity.
It exhibits mild aromatase-inhibition activity - competing at the aromatase enzyme with other aromatizable androgens to reduce estrogen conversion. This makes it a useful adjunct in testosterone-based cycles where estrogen control is needed. It also displaces testosterone from sex-hormone binding globulin (SHBG), raising free testosterone.
The enanthate ester is cleaved by plasma esterases to release free drostanolone, with a plasma half-life of ~7-10 days and peak serum levels 3-5 days post-injection. It suppresses endogenous testosterone via HPT-axis feedback (less aggressively than 19-nor compounds). A testosterone base is standard.
What to expect
First 2-3 weeks: slow onset, subtle drying effect. Libido often improves (free testosterone rise from SHBG displacement).
Weeks 4-8: steady state, peak hardness and conditioning effect. Vascularity noticeably increases.
Weeks 10-16: sustained gains. Extended cycles need careful monitoring of lipids, blood pressure, and hair/skin effects.

- Women: significant virilization risk at any meaningful dose - generally contraindicated in women.
- Rare: severe lipid shifts, cardiac strain with prolonged high-dose cycling.

Storage. Store at controlled room temperature (20-25°C / 68-77°F). Protect from light. Oil-based solution - do not refrigerate or freeze. Draw with a larger gauge needle and inject with a smaller one (18G draw, 23-25G inject). Keep out of reach of children and in a locked location - Schedule III controlled substance in the United States.
Regulatory status
Schedule III controlled substance in the United States under the Anabolic Steroids Control Act of 1990. Never FDA-approved (only drostanolone propionate was, and that was discontinued in the late 1990s). No legitimate pharmaceutical source exists for this ester. Possession or distribution without a valid prescription is a federal offense in the United States.
